More than a decade of planning and development by Sempra Infrastructure has shaped Port Arthur LNG into one of the most significant projects in America’s LNG export landscape. Guided by a clear mission to build a w facility, the project has advanced to a cornerstone of U.S. energy infrastructure strategically positioned on the Gulf Coast.
The next phase of growth is already underway. Phase 2 received key federal approvals and reached a positive final investment decision in 2025, setting the stage for additional capacity and infrastructure. When both phases are complete, the combined facility will be capable of delivering approximately 26 million tonnes per annum of LNG to global markets, helping meet rising energy demand while supporting long‑term economic growth in Southeast Texas.

Port Arthur LNG Phase 1
It is a joint venture between Sempra Infrastructure and ConocoPhillips and has long term, fully subscribed capacity with ConocoPhillips, RWE Supply and Trading, PKN Orlen S.A., INEOS and Engie S.A.
The expected commercial operation dates for Train 1 and Train 2 are 2027 and 2028, respectively.

Port Arthur LNG Phase 2
It is a joint venture between Sempra Infrastructure and an investor consortium led by Blackstone Credit & Insurance, together with KKR, Apollo-managed funds and Private Credit at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, with long-term contractable capacity supported by binding agreements with ConocoPhillips, JERA Co. Inc. and EQT Corp.
The expected commercial operation dates for Train 3 and Train 4 are 2030 and 2031, respectively.
