Sempra LNG and Sempra U.S. Gas & Power held an open house in Port Arthur, Texas, on May 25, 2015 in support of their proposed projects in the Southeast Texas region.
Sempra subsidiaries Port Arthur LNG, LLC and Port Arthur Pipeline, LLC have initiated the pre-filing review process with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the proposed Port Arthur LNG liquefaction facilities, along the Sabine-Neches Ship Chanel, and the Port Arthur Pipeline project in Jefferson County, Texas.
The open house was held at Lamar State College. Sempra and FERC representatives were available to provide information on the projects and their benefits.
These projects represent an investment in U.S. energy infrastructure that, if completed, will create jobs, help grow the U.S. economy and provide America’s trading partners with access to clean and reliable natural gas supplies.
