On September 28, 2018, the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission released a draft environmental impact statement for the proposed Port Arthur LNG export project under development in Jefferson County, Texas.
The draft environmental impact statement is a significant milestone for our Port Arthur LNG project and reaffirms our commitment to start delivering clean LNG to world markets by 2023.
The project is expected to include two natural gas liquefaction trains to enable the long-term sale of approximately 11 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG), feed gas pre-treatment facilities, natural gas liquids and refrigerant storage, up to three LNG storage tanks, as well as up to two marine berths and associated facilities.
