Tell us about yourself.
I am an environmental permitting and compliance manager with Sempra Infrastructure, supporting Phase 1 of the Port Arthur LNG project as the lead environmental inspector. Last June, I celebrated nine years with Sempra Infrastructure. I was born in Groves, Texas, near Port Arthur, and currently live in Spring. I enjoy playing the guitar, riding my motorcycle, and spending time with my three young granddaughters.
What are your main responsibilities as the Environmental Permitting and Compliance Manager?
In my role, I ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with federal, state, and local permits and authorizations. In addition, I lead a team of environmental inspectors and interface with the project team on compliance matters. My responsibilities also include permit management, regulatory submittals, and continued coordination of environmental inspections and site compliance activities.
What do you enjoy about working at Sempra Infrastructure?
One of the most rewarding experiences working with Sempra Infrastructure is our dedication and commitment to positively impacting local communities. I am proud to be part of the work that Port Arthur LNG and Sempra Infrastructure undertake in support of the local community and economy. Over the past three years of working at the Port Arthur LNG site, I have had the privilege to participate in and support Port Arthur LNG-sponsored community park improvements, Kids Fish, and Season of Giving events.
Thank you, Kenneth, for sharing your story. We appreciate all you do, and love having you as part of the Sempra Infrastructure and Port Arthur LNG team.
